The School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph cannabis survey

Have you recently travelled in Canada and gone on a cannabis related tour? Stayed at a cannabis friendly accommodation? Attended a cannabis-themed event? Participated in any activity involving the purchase and/or consumption of cannabis? If so, tell us about your experience!  On October 17th, 2018, Canada became the first G7 country to nationally legalize the cultivation, processing and selling of cannabis for recreational use. What impacts will this have for tourism in Canada? Amsterdam, Colorado and Thailand are destinations well-known for cannabis tourism, but Canada presents a never before seen opportunity for tourism businesses to offer a new range of products and for tourists to experience them. The School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph is conducting a study to better understand Canada's image as a tourism destination, post-legalization, as well as the motivations of cannabis tourists.  We need your feedback to help us understand what cannabis tourism looks like in Canada!
